All correspondence regarding student mail and packages during the winter break will be sent to the student’s crimson.ua.edu email addresses.

Package Forwarding & Returning to Sender

There are two ways you can have your package sent to another address. You can have Campus Mail forward your package to a different address or we can return your item to the sender so that they can mail you a new package to your preferred address.

To forward a package, you must complete the Mail/Package Service Request Form and provide us with a PREPAID shipping label from a carrier of your choice (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).

To create the shipping label, use the address below as your “from” address:

Student Name

MSC Number

1831 University Station

Tuscaloosa, AL 35487

To return a package to the sender, simply fill out the Mail / Package Request Form. There is NO fee to return your unopened package to the sender and you can request the vendor ship a new item to your preferred address.

Once Campus Mail receives the correct documents, your package(s) will be returned or forwarded within one business day. Once the package leaves Campus Mail we will no longer be responsible for its care or delivery. Campus Mail cannot control carrier delivery times. However, you will be able to track your package(s) using the tracking number from the prepaid shipping label you provided. If the package was sent through the USPS, you may not see any updates until arrival at the final destination. Other return-to-sender packages can be tracked on the carriers’ websites (FedEx, UPS).

Mail Forwarding & Returning to Sender

Student letter mail received by November 30 that has not been collected by December 21 will be returned to sender on January 3.

To have your letter mail forwarded, please complete the Mail/Package Service Request Form. First-Class mail and periodicals (newsletters and magazines) can be forwarded at no cost. USPS Marketing Mail or mail marked Presorted Standard or Non-Profit Org are not able to be forwarded. Once Campus Mail receives the correct documents, your package(s) will be returned or forwarded within one business day.
