Campus Mail Service has received many inquiries regarding orders of federal at-home COVID-19 testing kits. Because the U.S. Postal Service designates The University of Alabama’s address as a business address and business addresses are not eligible to receive the free federal tests, USPS will not fulfill orders for the free testing kits to student on-campus mailboxes. If you are looking to send at-home COVID-19 tests to a student, you will need to order them to ship to your residential address, then when they arrive at your home, mail them to the student’s campus address.

We understand this is an inconvenience. However, we have no control over USPS protocols.
